Widodo Makmur Unggas seeks to raise IDR 349,41 billion via IPO

JAKARTA. PT Widodo Makmur Unggas Tbk seeks to raise IDR 349.41 billion in fresh funds from an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on February 2, 2021.

In an official letter signed by the Director of the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) Syafruddin, Widodo Makmur Unggas has determined the number of shares to be released through the IPO as many as 1,941,176,500 units. The company, which runs the livestock business, has also set a nominal value of IDR 50 per share and the IPO offering price at IDR 180 per share.

The public offering period for Widodo Makmur Unggas shares will take place on January 25-27, 2021. Electronic distribution will be carried out on February 1, 2021 and the listing date on IDX will be on February 2, 2021.

In this IPO, Widodo Makmur Unggas Management has appointed a number of underwriters, namely PT CIMB Niaga Sekuritas, PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, and PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia. Meanwhile, a number of securities companies appointed as underwriters are PT Danasakti Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Panca Global Sekuritas, PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk (PANS), PT Valbury Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Waterfront Sekuritas, and PT Yulie Sekuritas Tbk (YULE).

According to idnfinancials.com data, Widodo Makmur Unggas currently has a number of business units which include a breeding farm, hatchery, commercial broiler farm, commercial layer farm, slaughterhouse and feedmill. A number of business units and production facilities owned by the company are spread across various cities in Java. (KR/LM)
