JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets the construction of the Margatiga Dam in East Lampung, Lampung to be completed by the end of 2021.
The construction of this dam aims to increase the capacity of the irrigation network from the Way Sekampung River, so that it is integrated with the Way Sekampung Dam.
"The progress of the construction of the Margatiga Dam has currently reached 56%, and is targeted for completion by the end of 2021," said PUPR Minister, Basuki Hadimuljono, as quoted by Kontan.
The construction of the Margatiga dam was carried out by the contractor PT Waskita Karya - ADHI (KSO) with a contract value of IDR 839 billion. Meanwhile, the supervision work was carried out by PT Yodya Karya - PT Wiratman (KSO). (LM)
