JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) stipulated that this year's housing subsidy, for Low-Income Communities (MBR), would be allocated for 22,876 housing units.
Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of PUPR, said that the assistance was a commitment from the Government of Indonesia to provide decent housing for MBR. "We hope to improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries by having a house that is more decent, healthy and comfortable," he said in a press release received by idnfinancials.com.
This year, said Hadimuljono, the government would distribute housing subsidies through four programs, including the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility, Advance Subsidy, Savings-Based Housing Financing Assistance, and Public Housing Savings. (KR/VA)
