JAKARTA - PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH) is partnering with Duha Syariah, a fintech platform to provide sharia financing for consumers in Java. This was conveyed by Suwandi, President Director of CASH, in a press release, Monday (1/2).
He said that Duha Syariah platform could be used by prospective consumers to access working capital and financing Umrah travel packages. "Cashlez and Duha Syariah’s mission is to increase the scale of MSME players’ capital, and the financing can use an invoice financing scheme," explained Suwandi.
He conveyed that Duha Syariah had obtained a permit from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Consumer transactions, that take place through this platform, have met the rules of usury-free and transparent. "Gradually, financing through this platform is still limited to merchants in Java. Later on, it will be expanded to other cities," said Suwandi. (LK/VA)
