BRI third party funds increased by IDR 91.17 trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) recorded an increase in third party funds (DPK) of IDR 91.17 trillion throughout 2020. This was conveyed by Sunarso, President Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) in Audited 2020 Financial Statements quoted on Tuesday (2/2).

He conveyed that DPK in 2019 was recorded at IDR 996.37 trillion, increasing to IDR 1,087.55 trillion at the end of 2020. The most significant growth occurred in the current account and savings account segment, namely IDR 185.15 trillion and IDR 460.45 trillion. In 2019, current accounts and savings were recorded at IDR 168.82 trillion and IDR 405.35 trillion, respectively. Meanwhile, the time deposit segment recorded an IDR 13.17 trillion growth or to IDR 426.39 trillion from Rp 413.22 trillion.

Meanwhile, the credit distributed by BRI during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 amounted to IDR 899.45 trillion, an increase compared to the same period in 2019 of IDR 877.43 trillion. The structure of the largest credit distribution of BRI total credit was channeled through the Rural General Credit (Kupedes) amounting to IDR 351.33 trillion, an increase of IDR 44 trillion from IDR 307.71 trillion in 2019.
