JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) earned sales amounting to IDR 3.33 trillion as of December 2020, an increase compared to the same period in 2019 of IDR 3.06 trillion. This was conveyed by David Hidayat, President Director of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) in the 2020 Financial Statements published Monday (8/2).
He conveyed that the largest sales contributor came from herbal drinks and supplements with IDR 2.22 trillion, followed by food sales at IDR 1 trillion, and pharmaceuticals at IDR 108.43 billion. SIDO also posted a profit for the year of IDR 934.01 billion, up from IDR 807.68 billion.
On the other hand, this company also recorded an increase in trade payable of 39% and taxes payable of 44% to IDR 203.69 billion and IDR 152.80 billion, respectively.
Leonardo, Director of SIDO, said that the increase in trade payable was due to the large number of purchases made towards the end of the year. "This has resulted in a lot of outstanding account payables as of December 2020," he said.
According to him, the increase in taxes payable was due to the increase in PPh 29 tax from the increase in profit before corporate income tax. (LK/LM)
