Temas injects capital in 2 subsidiaries

JAKARTA. PT Temas Tbk (TMAS), a container shipping company with total assets of IDR 3.37 trillion, has increased investment in its 2 subsidiaries in the form of additional capital.

Marthalia Vigita, Corporate Secretary of TMAS, said that the two subsidiaries that received additional capital were PT Temas Depot and PT Temas Shipping. "The objective of increasing capital in subsidiaries is the development of business activities of subsidiaries in the field of container depot management activities," said Vigita through disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

On the same occasion, Vigita explained that Temas Depot's additional paid-in capital amounted to IDR 110 billion. Then Temas Shipping received an additional capital of IDR 4 billion. After the additional paid-in capital, TMAS's share ownership in Temas Depot became 99.87% and in Temas Shipping 85%.

According to idnfinancials.com data, Temas Depot is a container depot management service company and has been operating commercially since 2002. Meanwhile, Temas Shipping has been running a shipping service business and has been operating commercially since 2003. As of September 30, 2020, Temas Depot's total assets were recorded amounting to IDR 407.52 billion while Temas Shipping amounted to IDR 475.5 billion. (KR/LM)
