WIKA to issue conventional bond and sukuk amounting to IDR 3 trillion

JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) will issue conventional bonds and Sukuk with a total value of IDR 3 trillion, to pay for loans and working capital.

WIKA's management in its prospectus explained that the proceeds from conventional bond issuance worth IDR 2.5 trillion will be used entirely to pay off the loan principal. This bond is part of the Shelf Registration Bond I Wijaya Karya with a target fund raised of IDR 4 trillion.

WIKA also issued Shelf Registration Sukuk Mudharabah I Wijaya Karya Phase II Year 2020 with a principal amount of IDR 500 billion, for working capital for infrastructure and building projects that do not conflict with sharia principles in the capital market. This sukuk is part of the PUB Sukuk Mudharabah I Wijaya Karya with a target fund raised of IDR 1 trillion.

The public offering period is set for February 25-26, 2021, with an allotment date of March 1, 2021 and the listing date on the IDX is scheduled for March 4, 2021. (AM/LM)
