JAKARTA - PT MNC Studios International Tbk (MSIN) realized the construction of Movieland in MNC Lido City, Bogor, after the area was approved as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Tourism from the National Council for Special Economic Zones.
Hatunggal Muda Siregar, Corporate Secretary of PT MNC Studios International Tbk (MSIN), said that Movieland will have an indoor studio of 1500 meters2 to produce films and drama series. "Other projects in the area are the construction of a national park, a world garden, an international golf club and a world class theme park," he said.
According to him, projects in the region will be transformed into the center of the film industry and drama series integrated with a number of production facilities and supporting facilities.
As an information, the area gets tax facilities and other incentives, including income tax and value added tax and sales tax on luxury goods, import duties and import taxes after being designated as a Tourism SEZ. (LK/LM)
