Fitch affirms ‘AA-(idn)’ ratings for Alfamart

JAKARTA. Fitch Ratings Indonesia has assigned PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) or Alfamart's long-term national rating at 'AA- (idn)' with a stable outlook.

Indra Kampono, President Director of Fitch Ratings Indonesia, said that the rating also applies to the Shelf Registration Bond II Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Phase II Year 2018. For information, this bond has a principal amount of IDR 1 trillion and will mature on April 12, 2021.

According to idnfinancials.com data, Alfamart posted revenue of IDR 56.37 trillion during January-September (9M) 2020. However, although its revenue grew 4.17% year-on-year (yoy), its net profit actually fell 1.3% yoy to IDR 659.19 billion.

Currently, 52.55% of Alfamart shares are controlled by PT Sigmantara Alfindo. Public investor shares accounted for 39.80%, and the rest is owned by individual investors. Until 11.26 WIB, AMRT's shares remained at the level of IDR 790 per share. (KR/LM)
