JAKARTA - PT Pegadaian (Persero) continues to show positive performance throughout the 2020 fiscal year with an increase in Operating Revenues increasing by 24.27% from IDR 17.67 trillion in 2019 to IDR 21.96 trillion.
The number of customers served also increased by 22.15% from 13.86 million people to 16.93 million people. As for the disbursed financing turnover, there was an increase of 13.34% from 2019 amounting to IDR 145.63 trillion to IDR 165.06 trillion in 2020.
President Director of PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kuswiyoto expressed his gratitude for the achievements made by the Company. That in the midst of unfavorable economic conditions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Pegadaian still has resilience in facing crises.
"We are certainly grateful to God Almighty and grateful to all customers who remain loyal to Pegadaian, and continue to utilize Pegadaian products and services as financial solutions faced during a pandemic", he added.
Meanwhile, throughout 2020 Pegadaian managed to record a profit of IDR 2.02 trillion, and recorded an increase in the Allowance for Impairment Losses (CKPN) from IDR 154 billion in 2019 to IDR 2.12 trillion in 2020. (LM)
