The Ministry of Finance will auction IDR 12 trillion of SBSN next week

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance, through the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR), plans to auction off State Sharia Securities (SBSN), or state sukuk, with an indicative target of IDR 12 trillion, on February 23, 2021.

There are 6 series of state sukuk that will be offered in the auction next week. They are SPN-S 100082021 with discount compensation, PBS027 with 6.5% return, PBS017 with 6.13%, PBS029 with 6.38% return, PBS004 with 6.1% return, and PBS028 with 7, 75% return.

Underlying assets, in the state sukuk auction, are projects or activities in the 2021 State Budget and state-owned goods, which have been approved by the Ministry of Finance. The allocation for non-competitive purchase in this auction is 30% of the total won.

The auction participants, registered with the DJPPR, consist of 18 banks and securities companies that are the main dealers, as well as the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC), and Bank Indonesia. “[It is an open auction] and using multiple price method.
