State budget deficit was IDR 45.7 trillion by January 2021

JAKARTA - The deficit in the State Budget, for the 2021 fiscal year for January, was recorded at IDR 45.7 trillion, or 0.26% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, at the 2021 State Budget Press Conference for the January period, Tuesday (23/2), revealed that the deficit grew slightly by 0.23% compared to the same period last year of GDP. Meanwhile, the outlook for this year's budget deficit will reach 5.7% of GDP.

In the APBN report, the realisation of state revenue, in January 2021, was IDR 100.1 trillion, fell 4.8% year on year (yoy). Meanwhile, realised state expenditure, amounted to IDR 145.8 trillion, grew by 4.2% yoy, and realised financing amounted to IDR 165.9 trillion. (AM/VA)
