01 March 2021 17:38

JAKARTA - Two peer-to-peer lending fintech players in Indonesia, namely PT Astra Welab Digital Arta (AWDA), which is a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk, with its products Maucash and PT Cerita Teknologi Indonesia through its product Restock, initiated a inter-platform P2P collaboration to help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that need financing.

The Maucash synergy with Restock aims to help MSME players to obtain financing through asset and inventory collateral schemes. This financing is needed by MSMEs to ensure that their business continues to grow in a sustainable manner.

"In this partnership, the added value of Restock for us is that Restock has proven good risk management and healthy business growth. This collaboration signifies that AWDA is opening up to collaborating with ecosystems in the productive sector along with other P2P platforms, namely Restock, in order to make it easier for MSME players to get financing,” said AWDA President Director Rina Apriana.

Since November 2020, the cooperation between Restock and Maucash has resulted in financing reaching a total of IDR 4.3 billion until February 10, 2021. Thanks to this collaboration, Maucash and Restock have succeeded in helping businesses (MSMEs) grow up to hundreds of percent during the pandemic. It is hoped that the distribution of productive loans to assist the development of MSMEs in Indonesia will increase and achieve the common target of IDR 500 billion for the total amount of loan disbursements in 2021.
