JAKARTA - Saltmine, the leading end-to-end digital workplace platform, which enables the world's largest companies to smoothly optimize their digital office space, announced Series A funding of US$ 20 million or approximately IDR 285 billion.

The Series A funding was followed by new investments from JLL Spark, the strategic investment arm of commercial real estate services company JLL, as well as previous investors such as Xplorer Capital and Jungle Ventures. In addition to participating in the funding, JLL also signed an agreement with Saltmine to provide access to Saltmine products to its customers.

Jungle Ventures Managing Partner David Gowdey said, “We are proud to partner with Saltmine and support their global team as it continues its business-scale growth journey. Saltmine is testament to the Asia Pacific region's potential in creating world-leading, best-in-class, specific software to reach a large, underserved category. Through Saltmine's smart technology, large companies can safely rehire their employees in the office."

The Series A funding is planned to be used by Saltmine to continue investing in recruiting new talents to develop their Product & Engineering team in Singapore. Saltmine will also expand their portfolio of Global 2000 companies, many of which are seeking to reinvent their offices in a resilient and hybrid manner amid a global pandemic. In addition, this funding is also expected to accelerate Saltmine's growth in Asia Pacific - particularly in high potential markets such as Australia, Hong Kong, India and Singapore. (LM)
