JAKARTA - The revenue performance of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) grew by IDR 2.40 trillion from revenue in 2019, which was able to reduce losses compared to the previous period. This was reported by Merza Fachys, President Director of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) in the 2020 Financial Report quoted on Friday (5/3).
He conveyed that revenue was recorded at IDR 9.40 trillion, higher than in 2019 of IDR 6.98 trillion and operating losses of IDR 784.67 billion, lower than the operating loss in 2019 of IDR 2.30 trillion, while net loss of IDR 1.49 trillion, down from IDR 2.18 trillion.
The largest contributor to revenue came from the data telecommunications services segment, followed by non-data and interconnection services and other segments. In 2020, revenue from data telecommunications services increased by IDR 2 trillion, to IDR 8.62 trillion from IDR 6.60 trillion in 2019. Likewise, there was a growth in interconnection services to IDR 170.09 billion from IDR 51.05 billion and other segments amounting to IDR 265.53 billion from IDR 18.28 billion. (LK/LM)
