Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran toll road targeted for completion this month

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is completing the final stage of the construction of the 14.19 Km Cengkareng - Batu Ceper - Kunciran Toll Road. This toll road is one of the 6 sections of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR II) toll road that was built to complement the road network structure in the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan area (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi).

The construction progress of the Cengkareng - Batu Ceper - Kunciran Toll Road has currently reached 93.06% and is targeted for completion in March 2021. This toll road is managed by PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng (JKC) with an investment value of IDR 1.96 trillion.

The construction of the Cengkareng - Batu Ceper - Kunciran toll road is divided into 4 sections, namely Section I (Kunciran - Tirtayasa) along 2.04 Km, Section II (Tirtayasa - Benteng Betawi) along 3.52 Km. Then Section III (Benteng Betawi - H.Sastranegara) for 6.57 Km, and the last is Section IV (H.Sastranegara - SS Benda) along 2.06 Km.

The Cengkareng - Batuceper - Kunciran Toll Road will also be connected to the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road, which has been operating and inaugurated by President Jokowi since last December 2019. In addition, this toll road is also expected to be an alternative toll access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and its surrounding areas. (LM)
