MNC Land explores investors for MotoGP circuit

JAKARTA - PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) is exploring funding from investors related to the plan to build a MotoGP circuit in Lido, West Java. This was conveyed by Alex Wardhana, Director of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) in an information disclosure quoted on Monday (8/3).

He conveyed that the MotoGP event has great appeal and potential for the tourism sector in Indonesia. "The event will contribute to an increase in the number of domestic and international tourist visits to Indonesia," he said.

According to him, other impacts with the presence of the circuit include an increase in state revenue from the tourism sector and Indonesia's popularity in the international arena. The MNC Lido City area, West Java will be built in stages, which is currently almost completing the construction of infrastructure facilities.

As an information, on an area of ​​700 hectares (Ha) it will be integrated with several other facilities, namely, film studios and other recreational facilities. (LK/LM)
