JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) is rebuilding a household gas network in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, which is being carried out through the EPC Division.
Purma Yose Rizal, Senior Vice President of the EPC Division of WSKT, admitted that the household gas network can reduce carbon emissions from combustion. The total length of the distribution pipeline is 105,012 meters, which will be connected with 5,084 houses.
"Household gas supply for Tarakan City comes from Medco Energy Field Tarakan 0.2 MMSCFD and PHE Field Bunyu 0.3 with a total of 0.5 MMSCFD," said Rizal.
Later, WSKT will also work on other gas networks outside Penajam Paser. Among them are Balikpapan, East Kalimantan and Tarakan, North Kalimantan. (KR/LM)
