JAKARTA - The revenue of PT Eastparc Hotel Tbk (EAST), the manager of the Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta, was eroded by around 57.85% in 2020 compared to 2019 as a result of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy for the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the 2020 Financial Report quoted on Tuesday (9/3), Khalid Bin Omar Abdat, President Director of PT Eastparc Hotel Tbk (EAST) said that EAST's revenue was recorded at IDR 37.07 billion, lower than 2019's revenue of IDR 64.08 billion. Likewise, gross profit decreased by 133.02% to IDR 1.99 billion from IDR 14.96 billion.

The room segment contributed IDR 20.99 billion in revenue, lower than IDR 33.66 billion, food and beverage IDR 14.74 billion, down from IDR 28.28 billion, and the other segments recorded IDR 1.33 billion, down from IDR 2.12 billion.

Meanwhile, the net profit was recorded at IDR 5.18 billion, 56.7% lower than IDR 8.99 billion in 2019. This is due to a grant from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) and an increase in financial income by IDR 1.30 billion and IDR 3.87 billion, respectively. (LK/LM)
