JAKARTA - PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA), a transportation service company, will add a fleet of light trucks and light buses to rent to consumers in mining areas. This was conveyed by Rex Alexander Joseph Syauta, Corporate Secretary of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) in an information disclosure quoted on Monday (15/3).
He conveyed that the company currently has 2,000 units of the fleet and plans to buy 40 new units of vehicles every month. "The company has allocated a capex of around IDR 100 billion for the purchase of vehicles," he said.
In addition, TRJA management also plans to purchase spare parts and accessories for vehicles at the mining project site. As for February 2021, the company has got a new client on Halmahera Island, North Maluku.
"The current economic situation is being monitored by management in order to see the potential for increased demand for vehicle rental," he said. (LK/LM)
