JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) posted a 493% increase in profit throughout 2020 compared to 2019 of IDR 193.85 billion. This was conveyed by Kunto Hendrapawoko, Corporate Secretary of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) in a press release quoted on Tuesday (16/3).
He said that the achievement was due to a number of strategic policies related to cost management and efficiency, including the sale of value-added commodities. "In the conditions of the COVID-9 pandemic, companies were able to maintain the sustainability of last year's production, sales and profitability," he said.
Throughout 2020, ANTM recorded sales of IDR 27.37 trillion, down from IDR 32.71 trillion in 2019. Operating profit grew 16% to IDR 2.03 trillion from IDR 955.61 billion, profit increased to IDR 1.14 trillion compared to 2019 amounting to Rp 193.85 billion. "Solid financial performance is also evident with the S&P Global ANTM corporate credit rating in 2020 with B / stable outlook," he said. (LK/LM)
