JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) will distribute cash dividends of IDR 10.27 trillion, or 60% of the total net profit earned in the 2020 financial year.
The plan was approved by BMRI’s shareholders on March 15, 2021, through the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held in Jakarta. Of the total cash dividends, as much as 60% or IDR 6.17 trillion will be given to the Government of Indonesia.
BMRI management has been authorised to regulate the procedures and implementation of cash dividend payments. Meanwhile, as much as 40% of BMRI's net profit for the 2020 financial year, is designated as retained earnings.
According to idnfinancials.com data, the total net profit obtained by BMRI during 2020 was IDR 17.12 trillion. It was supported by revenue performance which reached IDR 58.02 trillion. (KR/VA)
