JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 25.27 points to 6,322.56 in the midday break today (19/3).
A total of seven sectoral indices fell and dragged JCI to the red zone. The biggest decline occurred in the construction sector which slumped up to 1.67%. The three sectors that survived the first session were the consumer goods sector, manufacturing and basic industry.
LQ45 top losers at midday break today were PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC), PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) and PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA). (LM)
