Rukun Raharja teams up with Pertagas to work on IDR 4 trillion project

JAKARTA. PT Rukun Raharja Tbk. (RAJA) will conduct joint operations with PT Pertamina Gas or Pertagas (Pertagas) to work on the construction and operation of a petroleum pipeline worth US$ 300.62 million or around IDR 4.34 trillion.

The company statement revealed that the portion of RAJA's funding in the joint operation (JO) was 25%, while Pertagas occupied the majority portion of 75%.

Meanwhile, Pertagas is a business entity of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. (PGAS) with 51% share, PT Pertamina (Persero) with 48.99% share, and PT Pertamina Pedeve Indonesia 0.01%.

President Director of Rukun Raharja Djauhar Maulidi said that JO with Pertagas is one of the company's efforts to develop its business and expand in the transportation of oil and natural gas via pipelines. "The expected benefits are to increase the company's profit and increase the company's investment attractiveness," said Djauhar in a press release on Sunday (21/3/20210).

The JO in the development of the Balam-Banglo-Dumai and Minas-Duri-Dumai corridor oil pipeline project has a length of approximately 352.43 kilometers consisting of 12 segments and 3 segment stations including supporting facilities. (AM/LM)
