JAKARTA - PT Puri Global Sukses Tbk (PURI) posted a growth in house sales throughout 2020 amid the weakening average consumer purchasing power due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the performance of net profit contracted due to the increase in sales and marketing expenses over the past year.
Eko Saputro Wijaya, President Director of PT Puri Global Sukses Tbk (PURI) said that the company's revenue from the six housing developments amounted to IDR 75.82 billion, growing from IDR 72.32 billion in 2019. Gross profit and profit before tax are recorded IDR 26.26 billion and IDR 7.32 billion, respectively. While in 2019, the gross profit and profit before tax were recorded at IDR 24.86 billion and IDR 11.97 billion, respectively. The net profit decreased to IDR 7.30 billion in 2020 from IDR 11.95 billion in 2019.
Currently, PURI has a number of housing projects, among others, The Monde Residence, housing on an area of 40,000 M2 in Batu Ampar, in collaboration with PT Batamas Puri Permai (BPP), The Monde Signature, housing on an area of 18.35 m2, De Monde Junction, a shop house complex in an area of 13,695 m2, De Monde Bay Residence, a shop complex in an area of 40,416 m2, De Diamond Residence II on an area of 9,414 m2, and Permata Residence.
