Gojek grants USD 10 million investment in KitaBeli

JAKARTA. KitaBeli, an Indonesian-based social-commerce application, has just received a series A funding of USD 10 million led by Go Ventures, a venture capital company under Gojek.

In addition to Go Ventures, AC Ventures and East Ventures have also been involved in series A funding for KitaBeli. These returning investors have already participated in the earlier seed funding round of KitaBeli in August 2020.

KitaBeli currently focuses on fresh products and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sales in Indonesia. It started its operation in March 2020 and now concentrates on expanding its business outside major cities. KitaBeli even boldly targets some consumer groups that have no prior online shopping experiences.

According to idnfinancials.com, Go Ventures has invested in 11 funding for several different startups, including Pluang, Mobile Premier League, FoodMarket Hub, PasarPolis, eFishery, and Mall91. (KR/ZH)
