JAKARTA - PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) posted a net profit growth of IDR 258.92 billion throughout 2020 due to the efficiency of cost of goods sold during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was conveyed by Haryanto Adikoesoemo, President Director of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) in the 2020 Financial Report quoted on Thursday (25/3).
In his report, the performance of net profit in 2020 amounted to IDR 961.99 billion, an increase compared to 2019 which amounted to IDR 699.49 billion. This achievement was due to management's efforts to make the cost of goods efficient amidst the decline in revenue in 2020 compared to 2019. "Gross profit and operating profit were recorded at IDR 2.04 trillion and IDR 1.25 trillion," he said.
In 2020, AKRA's revenue was contributed from contracts with customers and rental income of IDR 17.49 trillion and IDR 241.42 billion, respectively. In 2019, AKRA's revenue only came from sales and revenue of IDR 21.70 billion. (LK/LM)
