Bank Oke to issue 5 billion shares via rights issue

JAKARTA - PT Bank Oke Indonesia Tbk (DNAR) will conduct a rights issue by issuing 5 billion shares with a nominal value of IDR 100 per share. This was conveyed by Efdinal Alamsyah, Director of PT Bank Oke Indonesia Tbk (DNAR) in an information disclosure quoted on Monday (29/3).

He conveyed that the corporate action plan will be implemented no later than 12 months after obtaining approval at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on May 5, 2021. "The proceeds from the rights issue will be used to strengthen capital and develop business activities, particularly credit expansion," he said.

From the published information, the EGMS will be held online to support government policies to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), as the custodian service provider, will provide KSEI electronic general meeting system facilities to shareholders regarding the process of conducting remote meetings.
