JAKARTA – PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI), the retail network operator of Alfamidi, has recorded a gross profit of IDR 3.15 trillion during 2020. It increased from IDR 2.9 trillion in 2019.
In its 2020 Financial Report, published on Tuesday (30/3), Suantopo Po, MIDI Corporate Secretary, explained that the gross profit increase was also accompanied by a growing net profit from IDR 11.62 trillion to IDR 12.65 trillion.
Additionally, the earnings were recorded at IDR 456.58 billion, slightly lower than IDR 463.35 billion recorded in 2019, following the increasing selling, distribution, and general expenses. Meanwhile, the total comprehensive income was IDR 238.81 billion, rising from IDR 188.02 billion in 2019.
By 2019, MIDI reported additional 112 retail stores opening across the country. With these new additions, the total MIDI stores now reached 1,538 units. (LK/ZH)
