JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) fell to 5,963.46 at midday break today (31/1). The index was observed to decrease by 10.98 points or 1.78% from the last close at 6,071.44.
During the day, the index was seen moving in the range of 5,952.78 and 6,071.44. All compact sectoral indexes weakened and dragged JCI to the red zone. The biggest decline occurred in the basic industry sector, which fell by 3.1%.
LQ45 top losers this afternoon are PT Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) Paper Factory, PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) and PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA). (LM)
