Mayora Indah recorded a steady IDR 2.09 trillion profit

JAKARTA – PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR) has scored a profit of IDR 2.09 trillion in 2020. It is relatively stable compared to IDR 2.05 trillion made in 2019, considering that it has suffered from 2.2% revenue loss. This steady result was supported by the profit from the foreign currency exchange rate gap throughout 2020.

Andre Sukendra Atmadja, the President Director of PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR), mentioned that net sales were recorded at IDR 24.75 trillion, which were IDR 550 billion lower than 2019 net sales of IDR 25.02 trillion. At the same time, the gross profit and the earnings were at IDR 7.29 trillion and IDR 2.83 trillion, respectively, both decreasing from IDR 7.91 trillion and IDR 3.17 trillion in 2019.

The main sales contributor went to the domestic market with IDR 14.36 trillion, followed by the Asia market with IDR 9.71 trillion, and others with IDR 399.44 billion. Meanwhile, during 2019, the domestic market pitched in IDR 13.54 trillion, Asia market IDR 11.05 trillion, and others IDR 426.22 billion.

Furthermore, in operational segments, the packaged and processed food products provided IDR 13.93 trillion sales, followed by the packaged and processed beverages with IDR 11.47 trillion. In 2019, the former contributed IDR 13.20 trillion, while the latter added IDR 12.74 trillion. (LK/ZH)
