Champion Pacific posts IDR 128.86 billion gross profit

JAKARTA - PT Champion Pacific Tbk (IGAR), a plastic packaging company, posted a gross profit of IDR 128.86 billion in 2020, higher than the 2019 period of IDR 123.59 billion. This was conveyed by Antonius Muhartoyo, President Director of PT Champion Pacific Tbk (IGAR) in the 2020 Financial Statements quoted on Monday (5/4).

He conveyed that revenue came from contracts with customers as much as IDR 739.40 billion, operating profit was recorded at IDR 76.54 billion, down from IDR 77.63 billion, and net profit of IDR 60.77 billion, stable from IDR 69.83 billion. The decline in operating profit was influenced by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which affected an increase in general expenses and other expenses as well as a decrease in other income.

"The group's operations have been and may continue to be affected by the spread of the COVID-19 virus," he said.

The main revenue contributor came from pharmaceutical product contracts with IDR 634.82 billion and non-pharmaceutical products with IDR 104.57 billion. Meanwhile, from the customer side, the largest contributor was domestic customers with IDR 728.95 billion, followed by export customers with IDR 10.44 billion. (LK/LM)
