JAKARTA - PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ) posted a profit of IDR 1.10 trillion throughout 2020, stable from 2019's profit of IDR 1.03 trillion. This achievement was due to optimal efficiency policies in selling expenses and other increases in revenue.
In the 2020 Financial Report quoted on Wednesday (7/4), Sabana Prawirawidjaja, President Director of PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ) said that sales were recorded at IDR 5.96 trillion, lower than 2019's IDR 6.22. trillion. Gross profit and operating profit were recorded at IDR 2.22 trillion and IDR 1.36 trillion respectively, while gross profit and operating profit in 2019 were recorded at IDR 2.32 trillion and IDR 1.26 trillion, respectively.
The beverage products and domestic market segments contributed the most to ULTJ's revenue. In 2020, sales of beverages in the local market were recorded at IDR 6.45 trillion and beverages in the export market at IDR 12.95 billion. In 2019, beverage products in the domestic market contributed IDR 6.70 trillion in revenue and beverages in the export market amounted to IDR 12.23 billion. (LK/LM)
