JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed up 33.84 points or 0.56% to 6,036.61. The index was observed to move in the range of 5,982.06 and 6,0400.45 after closing at the level of 6,002.77 yesterday.
A total of 15.11 billion shares were traded with a transaction value of IDR8.93 trillion. 221 stocks fell, 263 stocks moved flat and 244 stocks advanced.
The top gainers in today's trade are PT Pikko Land Development Tbk (RODA), PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) and PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk (PNBS). (LM)
