JAKARTA - The leading beauty-tech Social Bella opened five Sociolla Store stores earlier this year. Located in five different cities, Sociolla Store is here as a shopping destination for modern beauty products that is supported by integrated technology and an omnichannel concept that will further pamper beauty enthusiasts in fulfilling the need for beauty products that are curated and certified by BPOM.

The five new locations chosen were Mall of Indonesia (MoI) Jakarta, Grand Galaxy Park Bekasi, Beachwalk Bali, Summarecon Mall Serpong, and Margo City Depok. These five stores are designed with uniqueness and different characteristics from one another to provide new nuances for beauty enthusiasts when visiting, such as a large beauty bar area, wall of masks, make-up walls and so on. Sociolla already has 20 stores in Indonesia and 1 store in Vietnam, providing more than 330 brands of personal care and beauty products.

CoFounder & CMO Social Bella Chrisanti Indiana said, “As a leading beauty startup, we strive to be present and reach more beauty enthusiasts with safe and quality beauty products. This year, for the first time, Sociolla Store is present in Bali, which is one of the largest stores among other Sociolla Stores. With a unique and modern shop concept, we hope the Sociolla shop in Bali can become one of the shopping destinations of choice for beauty enthusiasts and visiting tourists."

With the economic recovery being encouraged by the government and ongoing health measures, the company is optimistic that business growth this year will be more positive. Moreover, the cosmetics industry has proven to be one of the sectors that has been able to survive well during the pandemic. The Ministry of Industry noted that the growth performance of the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic medicine industries, including it, grew 9.39 percent during 2020. Sociolla itself managed to record an increase in transactions in the ecosystem by 50% compared to before the pandemic. (LM)
