Dafam Property sued Griya Artha Langgeng Semesta

JAKARTA – PT Dafam Hotel Management, a subsidiary of PT Dafam Property Indonesia Tbk (DFAM), filed a lawsuit against PT Griya Artha Langgeng Semesta (GALS) in Jember District Court, East Java. The court was asked to issue a collateral foreclosure (conservatoir beslag) of Hotel Dafam Lotus Jember or its new name, Java Lotus Hotel Jember.

The lawsuit was filed under case number 125/Pdt.G/20202/PJ Jember on December 7, 2020. Based on the petitum quoted from sip.pnjember.go.id, DFAM stated that GALS owed IDR 15.90 billion due to default acts regarding hotel management.

The details of the said debt include the technical assistant fee of IDR 650 million; the management fee, starting from December 2017 to July 2018, of IDR 256.42 million; another management fee, starting from August to December 2018, of 437.59 million, the brand royalty cost of IDR 418 million, the non-management fee of IDR 16.24 million, and the loss for a total of seven years (2020-2026) amounting to IDR 14.12 billion.
