AMOR recorded assets under management of IDR 34.97 trillion in Q1 2021

JAKARTA – PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk (AMOR) recorded the total of its assets under management (unaudited) of IDR 34.97 trillion in Q1 2021. It increased by 72.1% year-on-year from IDR 38.61 trillion by December 2020. This news was stated by Ronaldus Gandahusada, the President Director of AMOR, in a press conference, quoted on Friday (16/4).

It was revealed that the said achievement has allowed the company to gain advantages from the global economic improvement and economic policy reformation in Indonesia. “Our assets under management are now much higher than last year’s.” he continued.

As of Q1 2021, AMOR reported the fixed income management (mutual funds) of IDR 10.68 trillion, shares of IDR 24.04 trillion, and others of IDR 250 billion. Then, as of December 2020, AMOR had reported the fixed income mutual funds of IDR 12.54 trillion, shares of IDR 25.86 trillion, and other of IDR 210 billion.

According to Gandahusada, several government policies, including the establishment of the Indonesia Investment Authority, a corpus management agency, and financial literacy improvement, indicated the development of the assets management industry in Indonesia. (LK/ZH)
