JAKARTA. PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACSET) recorded revenue in the first quarter of 2021 of IDR 381.05 billion, down 20.2% compared to the same period in 2019 of IDR 477.61 billion. However, the company managed to reduce the net loss in 2020 by 35.97%.
In the first quarter of 2019, ACSET recorded a net loss of IDR 124.44 billion and in the first quarter of 2020 the loss decreased to IDR 79.68 billion. For the results of this performance, President Director of Acset Idot Supriadi said that ACSET has shown an improved financial performance. This is a reflection of better conditions compared to the previous period.
"ACSET continues to carry out internal improvement efforts to achieve operational excellence that runs in various aspects to improve performance as well as prepare itself for the recovery that will occur in the construction industry in the future”, said Idot. Massive and sustainable operational excellence is reflected in cost reduction. and financial burdens for the past few periods, he added.
During that period, ACSET earned new contracts amounting to IDR 142.29 billion, consisting of foundation and infrastructure projects. ACSET continues to actively participate in the various opportunities available along with continuous financial discipline, said Idot, Tuesday (20/4/2021). (AM/LM)
