JAKARTA - The General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MBLI) yesterday (20/4) approved the distribution of final dividends for the 2020 financial year. The results of the meeting decided to distribute dividends of Rp475 per share to shareholders.
For information, Multi Bintang Indonesia posted a decrease in net profit of 76%, from IDR 1.206 trillion in 2019 to IDR 286 billion in 2020.
Even so, the new strategy that the company has started to implement since the start of the pandemic in the first quarter of 2020 has helped drive significant performance improvements in the last quarter of 2020, when compared to previous quarters.
In addition to the announcement of the company's financial statements, Multi Bintang Indonesia also announced the appointment of Jan Paul Boon and Celso Marciniuk as Commissioners of the Company, replacing the retiring Nicolaas Adrianus Vervelde and Bartholomeus A.C. van den Huijsen who has been assigned to a new position at HEINEKEN headquarters in Amsterdam.
