JAKARTA. PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA), a company running the property and construction businesses, recorded devastating losses up to IDR 87.54 billion in 2020.
One of the driving factors was the revenue performance that declined by 26.44% year-on-year (yoy) in 2020 to IDR 2.95 trillion. The company used to secure revenue up to IDR 4.01 trillion in the fiscal year 2019. According to idnfinancials.com, SSIA also used to score the net profit up to IDR 92.31 billion in 2019.
Despite the losses in 2020, the management claimed to be optimistic in driving the revenue back up in 2021 by 10 to 15%. This expected growth was supported by the possible future new contracts worth IDR 2 trillion.
Based on our data at idnfinancials.com, 74.55% of SSIA’s shares were distributed the public investors, each owning less than 5%. Other than that, 9.33% of the shares belonged to Arman Investments Utama, 8.12% PT Persada Capital Investama, 8% Intrepid Investments Limited, and the remaining portion were included in the treasury stock.
