Transcoal Pacific obtains coal transportation contract for IDR 472.8 billion

JAKARTA - PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) obtained a coal transportation service contract for a total of Rp 472.8 billion from a mining company in East Kalimantan. This was conveyed by Dirc Richard T, President Director of PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) in an information disclosure quoted on Friday (23/4).

According to him, the coal transportation is for three purposes, including transportation to the Buleleng Bali Steam Power Plant (PLTU) worth IDR 332.5 billion, to the PLTU in East Java worth IDR 92.3 billion, and the PLTU in Cilegon, Banten worth IDR 48 billion.

The provision of the coal freight service contract was signed earlier this week (20/4). The contract period for transportation to PLTU Buleleng is for 58 months, to PLTU East Java for 11 months and for PTLU in Cilegon for three months.

"This has a positive impact because the company gets the trust of customers to transport coal," he said.

Based on the report per quarter III 2020, TCPI customers who contributed 10% of the company's total revenue are namely, PT Arutmin Indonesia and PT Kaltim Prima Coal. (LK/LM)
