JAKARTA. PT Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (BMAS) posted a net profit for the year of IDR 66.99 billion in 2020, an increase of 12.1%.
Based on the financial statements of December 31, 2020, this net profit was achieved after the company posted net income of IDR 236.87 billion or decreased by 4.2% from IDR 247.35 billion recorded in 2019.
On the other hand, BMAS earned a profit from the sale of financial assets amounting to IDR 27.84 billion, as well as income from commissions and other income, which increased 1.3% and 7.3% respectively to IDR 6.35 billion and IDR 38.31 billion. Thus, the company achieved an operating profit of IDR 86.71 billion, up 4% percent from IDR 83.27 billion.
As of December 31, 2020, BMAS posted a total amount of credit disbursed at IDR 6.91 trillion, up from IDR 5.47 trillion in 2019, third party funds (DPK) grew by 41.3% mainly from deposits and savings. Meanwhile, total assets increased to IDR 10.11 trillion from IDR 7.57 trillion. (AM/LM)
