JAKARTA. PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) would share the dividend of IDR 354.15 billion, or IDR 33 each, which was taken from its net profit in 2020.
The decision was set after gaining approval from the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of BTPS held last week. In addition to the dividend distribution, the meeting also discussed the allocation of the company’s net profit in 2020 that reached IDR 854.61 billion.
An amount of IDR 20 billion of the net profit would be allotted to the general reserves fund. Meanwhile, the remaining fund after the dividend distribution, which would amount to IDR 580.46 billion, was to be spared as the company’s retained earnings to support business activities.
The management has decided that the cum dividend in the regular and negotiation market would be on April 29, 2021, followed by the cash market on May 3, 2021. The payment would take place on May 20, 2021.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, 70% of BTPS was controlled by PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BBTN) by December 31, 2020. Another 29.97% belonged to the public investors, while the remaining 0.03% was the treasury stock. (KR/ZH)
