JAKARTA. PT Zyrexindo Mandiri Buana Tbk. targeted the revenue and net profit to grow 50% and 20% respectively this year following the heightened needs of computers, laptops, and IT devices in education.

The President Director of Zyrexindo, Timothy Siddik, claimed that the company’s growth in its financial and business performance resulted from the new normal habits, Work from Home (WFH) and Distance Learning (lit. Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh/PJJ), developed during the pandemic that began in early 2020 until today.

Timothy was optimistic that it could attain the said objective by strengthening the distributors’ network and launching new advanced products. One of the prime products was Google Chromebook Laptop that has been officially released on April 12, 2021.

The company successfully boosted the sales by 74% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 126.8 billion in 2019 to IDR 223.4 billion in 2020. Meanwhile, the current year’s profit soared by a whopping 341.6%, from 8.24 billion in 2019 to IDR 36.37 billion in 2020.

“Based on the financial performance of 2020, the company now aims for growth in the sales and net profit by 50% and 20% in 2021,” Siddik stated, Monday (26/4). (AM/ZH)
