SRIL to face PKPU lawsuit of IDR 106.40 billion

JAKARTA – PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL), textile and garments manufacturer, deals with the Suspension of Debt Payment (PKPU) claim worth IDR 106.40 billion in total, which its two creditors filed. Allan Moran Severino, the Financial Director of SRIL, disclosed this news through the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (27/4).

“This lawsuit posed limited access to funding, including financing to banks and capital market,” Severino added.

The first PKPU lawsuit was filed by CV Prima Karya (PK) in Semarang Commercial Court, Central Java, last week (19/4) under case number 12/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021 PN Niaga Smg. The total loan from PK was IDR 5.5 billion, distributed to five subsidiaries of SRIL, including PT Sinar Pantja Djaja (SPD), PT Bitratex Industries (BI), and PT Primayudha Mandirijaya (PM).

The second lawsuit was filed by PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tk (BKSW) in Semarang District Court against PT Senang Kharisma Textile (SKT) and Iwan Setiawan Lukminto, SRIL’s President Director, last week (20/4). In the lawsuit under case number 13/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021/PN Niaga Smg, it was stated that the total loan from the creditor reached IDR 100.95 billion. (LK/ZH)
