ROTI to allocate IDR 61.4 billion for capital expenditure

JAKARTA – PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo Tbk (ROTI) provided IDR 61.4 billion as the capital expenditure (CapEx) in Q1 2021. It was intended to develop production capacity and marketing network expansion. Arlina Sofia, the Director of ROTI, announced the plan in a press conference, quoted Thursday (29/4).

According to Sofia, the CapEx was approximately 40% of this year’s CapEx allocation of IDR 153.5 billion. “The ROTI factories were built in 14 locations in Indonesia, and in February 2021, we have just begun operating the one in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan,” she continued.

Other locations of ROTI factories were at Cikarang, Semarang, Purwakarta, Medan, Cikande, Cibitung, Palembang, Batam, Gresik, Makassar, Pasuruan, and Balikpapan.

It was stated that the company scores the sales of IDR 787 billion, with a net profit of IDR 56.7 billion in Q1 2021. “These scores were still considered as positive amidst the COVID-19 pandemic,” she assured. (LK/ZH)
