Bank Victoria to issue private placement to seek fresh funds of IDR 93.79 billion

JAKARTA – PT Bank Victoria Tbk (BVIC) to arrange a private placement by issuing 586,205,939 shares with the price of IDR 160 each. In total, the funds collected would be equal to IDR 93.79 billion.

In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (29/4), Caprie Ardira Azhar, the Corporate Secretary of BVIC, claimed that the plan would be carried out on May 6, 2021, followed by the new shares listing on May 7, 2021. The gathered funds would be utilised to strengthen its capitalisation and drive credit expansion to the users.

Several participating parties in this corporate action are affiliates of Bank Victoria, including PT Victoria Insurance Tbk (VINS), PT Victoria Alife Indonesia, PT Prolestari Megapersada, PT Victoria Investama Tbk (VICO), PT Regis Pratama Indonesia, and PT Emperor Finance Indonesia.

Until September 2020, Bank Victoria channelled credits of IDR 13.7 trillion and third-party funds (DPK) of IDR 17.5 trillion, consisting of current accounts and savings of IDR 3.9 trillion and deposit accounts of IDR 13.6 trillion. (LK/ZH)
