DMMX and MCAS subsidiary plans for expansion to overseas market

JAKARTA - Cosmos Charisma International Pte Ltd (CCI), subsidiary of PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (DMMX), PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk (MCAS) Group, is looking to expand and deploy the group’s technological capabilities in overseas market. CCI is a Singapore domiciled company that was established in February 2021.

CCI was established with the objective of supporting local retail partners who have overseas presence and wishes to deploy DMMX’s digital marketing solution in their stores outside Indonesian shores. Presently, CCI will mainly focus on countries in the ASEAN region such as Singapore and Philippines, in conjunction with requirements of DMMX’s domestic retail partners.

Budiasto Kusuma, President Director of DMMX, added, “We are excited about the prospects of entering the overseas market and to show off our capabilities beyond the context of the Indonesian market. While our focus remains on being a key digital marketing partner to the Indonesian retail sector, we recognize the replicability and commercial value of our business model in retail segments in other markets as well. As such, CCI is an important first step for us to prepare for such an eventuality and an important channel for us to support our local retail partners’ ambitions overseas as well.”

Following the initiative, DMMX is in the middle of exploring partnership with key regional players to fuel its global expansion. (LM)
