Pakuwon Jati issued a USD 300 million bonds, aiming for refinancing

JAKARTA – PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON), the property and real estate company, to pay off its 2017 bonds worth USD 250 million with the more recent bonds amounting to USD 300 million, issued last week (29/4). Minarto, the Director of Pakuwon Jati, relayed the news through the information disclosure published on Monday (3/5).

It was mentioned that this current bond would mature in 2028 with a fixed interest rate of 4.875% per year. “UBS AG, Singapore Branch, and Goldman Sach, Singapore, Pte. would act as the initial purchasers. The Bank of New York Mellon, London, would be the trustee for the bonds’ holders,” Minarto continued.

The bond would be guaranteed by several of its subsidiaries, including PT Artisan Wahyu, PT Elite Prima Hutama, PT Grama Pramesi Siddhi, PT Pakuwon Permai, PT Pakuwon Sentosa Abadi, PT Permata Berlian Realty, and PT Dwijaya Manunggal. “The fund gathered from this recent bond (2020) would or has been used to pay off bonds released on February 14, 2017, of USD 250 million. The remaining would be allocated to the corporate’s needs,” Minarto stated. (LK/ZH)
